Poetry
I didn't fulfill my promise to update my personal blog. I apologize for it. Facebook had been my popular hanging out online. Anw, I came across this poetry while was reading a book. And this poetry was taught to me when I was learning at Darul Mustafa, Solo by Habib Toha bin Yahya. It was my first experience in listening to the poetry that caught my attention to think poetry does have significant role in community as it develop not only our thinking capacity but also our spiritual immunity.
“I pass by the house, the house of Layla,
and I kiss this wall and that wall.
It’s not love of the house that impassions my heart
but of she who dwells in the house.”
— Qays ibn al-Mulawwah
